
Sharon Giltrow grew up in South Australia, the youngest of eight children, surrounded by pet sheep and fields of barley. She now lives in Perth, WA with her husband and two children.
Sharon has taught for all of her career and she now teaches young children with Developmental Language Disorder.
Her humorous debut PB Bedtime Daddy, released May 2020
through EK Books. Her follow up PB GET READY, MAMA! also released by EK Books, is a SPEECH PATHOLOGY AUSTRALIA shortlisted BOOK OF THE YEAR. Her third and fourth PB, LET’S GO SHOPPING, GRANDMA! and LET’S GO TO THE BEACH, GRANDPA! are due to be released in 2023 and 2024 through Dixi Books.
Awarded The Paper Bird Fellowship for Writers in 2019, Sharon used this time to write SAMARA RUBIN AND THE UTILITY BELT, book one of her early middle grade series, which will be released in 2023, through Clear Fork Publishing, with book two and three to follow.
